Police are hoping witnesses and those with video footage of a Coquitlam altercation this week can come forward.
RCMP explains — what it calls — an isolated incident took place Thursday night (Aug. 12) around 8 p.m. on Pacific Street.
Spokesperson Staff Sergeant Ted Lewko adds there's no immediate concern for public safety.
"At this time, no arrests have been made however the investigation is ongoing."
Witnesses allege to the Tri-City News it was an attempted stabbing that occurred north of the street's intersection with Glen Drive, but nothing has been confirmed by Mounties as of this publication (Aug. 13).
RCMP is now asking residents and passersby to submit any CCTV or video footage of the altercation that may help with the investigation.
Anyone with more information or who may have witnessed the incident is also encouraged to call Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550.
