Vancouver police have identified five more suspects in the Breakout Festival riot at the PNE, for a total of seven out of 10 suspects.
Vancouver Police Department (VPD) shared the update in a tweet on Tuesday (Nov. 8).
The riot on Sept. 18 caused upwards of $300,000 in damages when hundreds of fans resorted to violence and vandalism after they were told the festival's headliner, rapper Lil Baby, was deemed too ill to perform.
VPD have identified the first two suspects on Friday (Nov. 4), shortly after police sent out a list of the top 10 suspects from the riot over a month after the event.
"If you are one of the suspects on this poster, now is the time to come forward," VPD wrote in a tweet.
Police have launched a website dedicated to the Breakout Festival riot with multiple photos of the top 10 suspects and a place to submit tips, which can be anonymous.
Punishment for the charges will depend on the individual's criminal history and VPD haven't charged anyone in relation to the riot yet.
The VPD also has a tip line at 604-717-4021 for any information about this incident.
