Vancouver police are investigating a homicide in East Vancouver -- the city's ninth of 2023.
According to the VPD, a body was found in a vacant property near Renfrew Street and East 8th Avenue just before 10 p.m. on June 21. Officers were called by a passerby who discovered the remains.
No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing but anyone with information is asked to call VPD’s Homicide Unit at 604-717-2500.
