Police are looking for witnesses to an incident that badly injured two pedestrians on Monday, Dec. 18.

Around 5 p.m. the pair, a 41-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man, were crossing Argyle Drive near Braeburn Street in southeastern Vancouver, according to a press release from the Vancouver Police Department.

As they crossed, they were struck by a grey Tesla.

"Both pedestrians were taken to hospital. The woman remains in hospital with serious injuries," states the VPD.

Police are looking for any witnesses to come forward.

“This collision occurred during a busy time of day where there would be a lot of pedestrian and vehicle traffic,” says Const. Tania Visintin in the press release.
