The Canadian Olympic women's softball team returned home with an adorable video showcasing their new bronze medals in ultra-Canuck style.
A video shared by Vancouver International Airport's Twitter team on Wednesday (July 28) shows the women sporting their red Olympic attire and posing in front of the luggage carousel while making "moose ears" with their hands. They are also wearing their medals around their necks, of course.
Team Canada defeated Team Mexico three to two to win the bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 games on Tuesday (July 27) as well as Canada's first Olympic medal in softball.
The YVR Airport also congratulated the team on its historic win, writing "[Team Canada] won its first Olympic medal in softball ever."
A first for softball in Canada
Prior to the victory, Canada's best softball finish was at the Beijing Olympics in 2008 when they finished fourth, according to Olympic.ca.
The Team Canada Twitter account team remarked: "From one last shot at an Olympic podium to a first for softball in Canada to glory."

At the time of this writing, Canada is currently in eleventh place in the overall medal count with four bronze medals, three silver, and two gold.
