Last year around this time I wrote THIS in-depth post about the nearly-impossible story of salmon returning to Still Creek in Vancouver for the first time in 80 years. They came back thanks to restoration and enhancement efforts, and were seen right off of Broadway. I was thinking back about it recently and how it's such a crazy thing that it felt like a dream, and this morning I woke up and was reminded that it's real after receiving a link to the video below shot by Sarah Primeau. It was shot just yesterday at Cornett and Natal, right by the Canadian Tire there.
The salmon are back again in Still Creek, friends. Get out there and see them while you can.

Here's a map of where this was shot and HERE is a link to get there. Note the dense forest surroundings and proximity to Starbucks, dress accordingly and be bear-aware out there in the wilds! ;)
