Okanagan cherry orchard selling for less than the average Vancouver house

It has acres of cherries, peaches, and apples

Some people get their peaches from a can, others from Georgia.

But for people who want to eat a lot of peaches, they could consider moving to the country, to this orchard in the South Okanagan.

A 9.6-acre orchard estate is currently listed near the town of Oliver near the U.S. border. It features a variety of fruit trees, including several varieties of cherries, peaches, and apples.

The property is on the market for $2.51 million; the average detached single-family house in Vancouver is selling for around $2.6 million.

Along with the fruit trees, there's a house on the property. The modest 1940s structure was renovated recently. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
