An unusual house has popped up for sale in B.C.'s southern interior region.
While it may look like it might be from the south of France, this brick castle is actually in Okanagan Falls on Skaha Lake, located just south of Penticton.
The house is on the market with a $2.2 million asking price, which is about the same cost as the average detached single-family house in Vancouver.
The four-bedroom, three-bathroom Okanagan home may look like a little castle (it even has a courtyard) made of bricks, but it's a custom-built home erected in 1976.
The brickwork is the most eye-catching part, from the curtain walls to the parapets to the archways. There's also a wrought iron gate with a mounted knight design.
Aside from the castle-like design and features, there's also a large outdoor pool and a view of Skaha Lake in the distance.
