An entire B.C. ski resort with a pub, hotel, and separate lake resort is selling for the same price as a six-bedroom house in Vancouver.
The Powder King Mountain Resort, and everything that comes with it, has seen its price reduced from $8.25 million to $5.9 million recently, dropping by $2.35 million.
Powder King is known for its snow; it's ranked the top ski resort in Canada for total snowfall with almost 41 feet annually.
Before running out the door to go buy the resort (or try it out), it should be noted that it's also one of the northernmost ski areas in Canada.
Located near Mackenzie, Powder King is about a two-hour drive from Prince George, or 12 hours from Vancouver.
While Powder King might not be located in the ideal location for a commuter from Vancouver, the resort does come with plenty to keep one busy on-site.
At the resort there's also a 50-room hostel-style hotel. And there's a pub and dining room, a service shop, and staff accommodation.
The ski area itself is sizable, with 38 marked runs, 925 acres of skiable area (Stanley Park is 1,001 acres, for comparison), and a total vertical drop of 640 m.
While Powder King is the star of the listing, it's not the only piece.
There's also Azouzetta Lake Resort as part of the real estate package. Along with all the "z"s in the name, the lake resort comes with several cabins, 25 campsites, a gas station, a store, and a cafe.
