A few weeks back I made a POST about husband and wife design duo Jennifer Newsom Carruthers and Tom Carruthers who were raising money for an art installation through Kickstarter. Their "Make It Rain" concept for a 27’-tall, tapering, and reflective soft cylinder mounted onto the existing base of the under-repairs Gastown steam clock was successfully funded (YES!) and installed recently. However it caused a bit of confusion with a local businessman who didn't get the memo that it was art and took it upon himself to add his own flair to it.
The Huffington Post BC published THIS STORY yesterday where they interviewed Jennifer and the unlikely "artist" who added to her and Tom's creation. It ends in awesomeness.
