The two-storey, 9,000 sq. ft. penthouse at 717 Jervis St. is the biggest of its kind in the city's downtown area.
The massive 5-bedroom, 9-bathroom home sits on the top two floors of the 31-storey residential tower in Vancouver's core and offers up a lot of space in an area where space is at a premium.
This is why the price tag is $14 million.
That makes sense when you're looking at Vancouver real estate market from one of the many decks, balconies or solariums and taking in the 360 views. From the master bedroom alone you can spot Lions Gate Bridge and English Bay, and virtually every room has an unobstructed view of the city.
Given its size, there are a lot of rooms, too. The floor plan lists three offices (one being a corner office, naturally, and another could be a reception area, probably). There's also a library and a bar and this is starting to sound a bit like Clue.
The floor plan also suggests multiple living rooms and family rooms, and a media room and dining room, though there's a lot of open concept-ing going on, so some of that can be amalgamated.
And most of that is just the main floor. Upstairs there's a gym, five bedrooms, a 'workstation' (which is not an office somehow). One spot is just listed as flex; perhaps they ran out of things to call rooms.
It last sold in 2014, for a mere $5,180,000.
