The home at 4131 W 11 Avenue will never be an Air BnB for orcas.
That's not just because they're ocean-dwelling mammals, but also because the inside is under 16 feet wide and the massive dolphins, which grow to at least 16 feet, wouldn't have anywhere to turn around.
It'd be a disaster. Utter chaos.
In other words, this is a very slim home.
It's built on a property that's just 16.5 feet wide, that's half the size of the standard lot in Vancouver (it makes sense when you see one of the neighbours also has a half-sized lot).
While it's a skinny place, it's also an expensive place. Located in Point Grey, it's listed at $1.98 million.
Even though it's a small house, there are a few nice features. Probably the most notable is the rooftop deck which is high enough you can see a chunk of English Bay. There's also a separate balcony and some yard space.
They were also able to get a couple of bathrooms and bedrooms in, along with a den with a fireplace, a kitchen, and a living room.
