B.C.'s biggest city has numerous tiny, creative rentals, with everything from living rooms to solariums to even closets.
Since Vancouver rent costs climb month-over-month, paying under $1,000 for a private room may be considered a great deal. But is that affordable price tag worth one's privacy?
A room listed earlier this week on Facebook Marketplace is going for $750 per month. It's one of six rooms in a three-bedroom, one-bathroom home.
The space comes with in-unit laundry and street parking, but the room itself has curtains for walls and only offers enough space for a single mattress. Only one wall is an actual, solid wall, while the other three are all curtains.
The listing notes that an ideal tenant would stay long-term but shorter stays are also accepted.
