Our advent calendars are half-eaten, shipments are getting delayed and New Year’s is right around the corner…

While it’s normal to be scrambling to check names off our shopping lists this time of year, this holiday season has presented a whole new set of gift-buying challenges. Fortunately, some local businesses are making it easy to give showstopping gifts, without having to worry about shipping times.

Give the gift of gains

Fitness World Canada in particular has one game-changing stocking stuffer, perfect for fitness enthusiasts or anyone looking to get healthy in the New Year – personal training gift cards.

Fitness World’s new personal training gift certificates are now available in 5 and 10-session bundles. All gift certificates come with a 30-day membership for non-members, so even those who are new to the gym scene can get a taste of Fitness World’s offerings. The gift certificates are redeemable at any Fitness World location across the Lower Mainland (excluding TRAIN by FW Main Street).

With 17 locations across the Lower Mainland, Fitness World has quite literally raised the bar when it comes to what to expect from your local gym. Fitness World offers clients state-of-the-art equipment, including specialized recovery equipment you won’t find at any other gym in the city, alongside personalized training programs, classes, boot camps, nutrition support, tanning, supervised childcare and an ongoing commitment to the communities that they operate within.

In the last year, Fitness World has developed various pilot programs across Vancouver that bring free fitness to groups with less access to fitness such as at-risk youth, seniors, and addiction recovery residents.

And now they’re making gift-giving easy too.

How to purchase

Fitness World’s personal training gift certificates are available for purchase in-club only. With prices ranging from $390 - $1,166, there’s a package for every budget and fitness level. These offers are only valid through December 31, 2024, and they’re sure to go fast. Not ready to commit to a gift certificate? Fitness World is also offering 3-day passes, so you can test out their facilities before taking the plunge.

This year, skip the impersonal gifts – by gifting personal training, you’re not just handing over a piece of paper, you’re giving someone the chance to invest in themselves.
