Manning Park Resort is open and ready to welcome guests back for the summer!
Just 45 minutes east of Hope on Highway #3 and 2.5 hrs from Vancouver, Manning Park Resort in the Similkameen Valley is a local travel destination with many recreational activities available. With the amount of outdoor adventures offered at the park, you can think of it as a summer camp where you can stay naturally socially distant while connecting with your family and friends in the fresh air.

With the Resort nestled in EC Manning Provincial Park, there are a variety of scenic hiking and biking trails -- 300km worth, to be exact -- for short hikes and backcountry exploration. The routes wind through the valley and up the peaks, taking hikers along spots such as the Similkameen River, Lightning Lake, Strawberry Flats, and lookout points to experience the Cascade Mountains and magnificent forests.
To get in touch with nature, you can embark on self-guided leisurely walks to appreciate the flora and fauna in the park, from admiring the wildflowers in the meadows to spotting the Spotted Owls and other bird species in the area. By day, you can choose to go out on the water of Lightning Lake by canoe, kayak, or stand-up paddleboard. At night, you and the family can take advantage of the optimal stargazing conditions with very limited light pollution due to the pristine alpine environment.

Manning Park Resort offers accommodation in their lodge, cabins, and chalets. The resort’s new premium cabins can sleep up to 12 guests with enough configurations to give everyone in the group ample space.
Dining services are available at the Pinewoods Dining Room for patio dining or for takeout. Their extensive menu offers a West Coast take on classic dishes, as designed by the restaurant's executive chef.
