Modern Match is giving out free panties to lucky shoppers in honour of the grand launch of their lingerie brand!
Based in Prince George, B.C., the women-led Canadian startup will be giving 100 pairs of their panties starting today, October 5, at 11 a.m. PST on modernmatchlingerie.com.
This initiative is part of the company’s effort to let women try their product risk-free and experience lingerie tailored to suit modern women of ALL body types.
For the free panty offer, customers can take their pick between Modern Match’s mid-rise, scalloped Lace Back Cheeky or the seam-free Go-To Thong in the brand’s full range of colours and sizes. Both styles are ultra-light, ultra-silky, ultra-comfortable, and designed to make women feel beautiful, confident, and empowered.
In keeping with their mission of selling lingerie made to worn every day, Modern Match also sells a range of size-inclusive bras — made with lace and fit for comfort — that they believe women will want to wear day in and day out.

As Shauna Allan, founder of Modern Match, remarks, the pendulum swing in the world of lingerie doesn’t always account for what women want.
“We went from feeling unworthy of lingerie if we weren’t skinny enough or sexy enough, to pieces that are ultra comfortable that lost the sensuality and excitement that lingerie can bring a woman,” she says.
To address this gap in the women’s underwear industry, Allan created the company "to support women in moving out of their unworthiness and into stepping into their superpower through their new lingerie."
Now, Modern Match is joining the ranks of lingerie brands challenging how people view the lingerie world by serving women of all types and giving them the value of feeling sensual, comfortable, and powerful in each and every size from the moment they slip on their underwear.

"We’re not your ordinary everyday lingerie business, we’re a community of women supporting women to be strong and speak up,” explains Shauna. “We want women to know the value of their opinions so that they’re never scared to use their voice.”
The impact of the pandemic enabled Modern Match to deepen their connection with the women in their community and to continue to focus on serving even more women.
“As the company continues to grow, my plans are to continue to challenge and extend the size range to serve more women,” says Allan on the company’s vision for further expansion.
