On Aug.15, the LVN (Loved, Valued and Needed) Music Fundraiser at Beaumont Studios in Vancouver will harness that power to support a vital cause. This special event aims to raise funds and bring awareness to the Crisis Centre BC, combining the magic of live music with a commitment to mental health advocacy.
The LVN Music Fundraiser’s goal is to be more than a concert; it aims to be a beacon of hope and support for those impacted by mental health challenges. Doors will open at 7:20 p.m., with the show commencing at 7:30 p.m. The night will feature performances by some of Vancouver's rising stars, including Tay, DF!NE, Hannah Rose and Scalawag. These talented artists, known for their engaging performances and meaningful lyrics, are generously contributing their time and skills to ensure this event is truly memorable. Their involvement highlights the deep connection between music and emotional well-being.

“Our main mission is to remind everyone who is going through dark times how they are loved, valued and needed,” says Leah, the fundraiser organizer. “We will amplify empathy and compassion back into our community.”

The hope is that the evening encourages meaningful discussions on mental health while underscoring the importance of crisis intervention/support and creates a platform for unity and collective action.
Proceeds from the event will directly support the Crisis Centre BC, fueling their vital work in providing emotional and mental health support throughout British Columbia. Crisis Centre BC offers 24/7 distress phone lines and online chat services and delivers immediate, confidential assistance to those in need. Their comprehensive approach also includes educational programs and community engagement initiatives designed to build resilient, supportive communities.
