This way, you and your household can continue to eat healthy and well while doing your part to stay home!
Zaklan Heritage Farm and Glorious Organics have custom built this harvest of fresh vegetables with our B.C. farmers in mind — a community that has sustained us throughout these trying times and is deserving of our efforts to #supportlocal. From farm radishes to organic rainbow carrot and other produce fresh from the fields and orchard, you’ll know exactly where your food is coming from and feel good supporting their producers.
We’re big fans of Legends Haul and what they’ve done during the pandemic. Originating as a distribution service for Vancouver’s top restaurants, the company — founded by Eastwood Cycle’s Jillian and Craig Sheridan — has pivoted to offering home grocery delivery.
What sets Legends Haul apart is their focus on building out their stock of locally and consciously-sourced food ingredients. These considerations impact their choices in selecting meat and seafood, fruits and vegetables, and everything else in between.
The company is also lending support to their ‘Friends of Legends’ within Vancouver’s restaurant industry by delivering packaged food and groceries items from the restaurants to homes. Selections range from Medina Cafe's beloved Chocolate Lavender Waffles to Chambar's delicious Braised Short Ribs kit and even Savio Volpe's La Tana Bolognese sauce.
By utilizing their resources to get good food into the homes across our communities, Legends Haul has provided an essential service while supporting local farmers, food producers, and restaurateurs.
To demonstrate further eco-consciousness, products are loaded onto the same trucks and are green-routed. This is all part of Legends Haul's grand vision of making better decisions for a healthier planet and forging a more stable and regenerative food system — and they’re in that mission for the long haul.
Hauling seven days a week, Legends Haul services customers located throughout the Greater Vancouver area, up to the Sea-to-Sky in Squamish and Whistler, and also to Bowen Island. You can choose your delivery day up to a week in advance, and next day delivery is offered 7 days a week for orders placed by 9 p.m.
