Conducted by Maynards, the liquidation group’s next Vancouver film industry liquidation sale starts on October 21 and will be held throughout the fall until inventory is sold out. Over 60,000 wardrobe items from a pair of recently-wrapped television productions that were filmed in Vancouver will be deeply discounted at the sale event location on 130 West Broadway.
While the names of the two locally-filmed productions have not been disclosed, the little information that has been teased out is quite telling. With both television series having a combined count of 15 seasons and 295 episodes, the clues point to two TV shows based on a couple of classic comic book series – a super-charged superhero show starring “The Fastest Man Alive” and a nostalgic and mysterious teen drama that follows an iconic group of high school students. Both of these television productions have amassed much attention over the past ten years with their various filming locations and star sightings across Metro Vancouver.
Up for grabs will be a large selection of high-end pieces from both TV shows’ wardrobe departments, including over 50,000 pieces of clothing and over 10,000 accessories and pairs of shoes for women, men, and youth.
The apparel items include several wardrobe essentials, such as winter coats, sport jackets, blazers, blouses, sweaters, cardigans, dress shirts, jeans, skirts, dresses, sports wear, and yoga leggings. Accessories like hats, toques, scarves, gloves, ties, belts, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, purses, backpacks, and duffle bags will also be found among the sale inventory.
The fashion labels you’ll find among the sales racks range from local to international ready-to-wear brand names, including Phillip Lim, Alexander Wang, Hugo Boss, Valentino, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Judith & Charles, Wilfred, Rag & Bone, All Saints, Vince, AG, Citizens of Humanity, Frame, J Brand, Paige, Fidelity, G-Star, Rails, Ted Baker, Ulla Johnson, Tiger of Sweden, Paul Smith, Alicia & Olivia, A.L.C., Veronica Beard, L'Agence, Maje, Joie, Scotch & Soda, The Kooples, SMYTHE, Suitsupply, John Varvatos, and Filippa K.
The first weekend of the liquidation sale runs on October 21 and 22 from 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., followed by the second weekend from October 27 to 30. The liquidation event will run every Friday to Monday from November 3 until December 18.
