When it comes to "fore!" in Metro Vancouver, there are three golf courses that have made a top 100 list for "the best of the best" in the nation.
Capilano in West Vancouver, Shaughnessy in Vancouver, and Point Grey in Vancouver landed on the SCOREGolf list, which ranked Canadian courses in nine categories: beauty, challenge, strategy and design, to name a few.
Within the top 10, Capilano was the only Vancouver-area course on the list, coming in eighth position. Shaughnessy ranked 20th, while Point Grey came in towards the end at 87.
Overall, 18 B.C. golf courses were among the chosen few on the SCOREGolf list.
The golf course to take the top spot was Cabot Cliffs in Inverness, N.S.
There are approximately 2,300 golf facilities in Canada. The top 100 represent the top four percentile in the country.
