Canada's three largest airlines servicing Metro Vancouver have end-of-summer sales on hundreds of flights.
Air Canada, WestJet, and Flair Airlines are offering discounts on flights to destinations across the continent, Central America, and the Caribbean. Travellers can enjoy significant savings on numerous flights departing from or arriving at Vancouver International Airport (YVR).

Air Canada
Air Canada has a sale on flights between Canada and all destinations in Mexico, the Caribbean, and select sun destinations in the U.S.
The sale is valid on travel between now and Feb. 18, 2025, and applies to all booking classes, including Economy, Premium Economy, and Business Class.
Tickets must be booked by 11:59 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23.
Air Canada sales do not apply to code-share flights, which is when another airline is on the ticket (for example, United Airlines on a portion of the itinerary).
WestJet
WestJet's "Summer Escape Sale" features discounts on 4,500,000 seats to 98 destinations within Canada, between Canada and the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America.
The sale is valid for travel between now and Feb. 18, 2025, and applies to tickets in the UltraBasic, Econo, Premium, and Business classes.
Tickets must be booked by 10:59 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23
Travellers can also find deals on hotel and flight packages through WestJet Vacations to the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America.
The WestJet sale also does not apply to code-share flights.
Flair Airlines
Flair Airlines has also launched a sale to celebrate its 19th birthday, offering 19 per cent off base fares for one-way flights to transborder and international destinations.
The sale is valid on travel between Sept. 3 and Oct. 31.
Tickets must be booked by 10:59 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23 using the promotional code "HAPPYBDAY."
The Flair sale also does not apply to code-share flights.
Some sale destinations from YVR include top destinations including Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Las Vegas.
