Looking forward to a tropical vacation during the long, wet Vancouver winter?
Vancouverites looking to escape the city chill have a few different low-cost options to Honolulu through United Airlines, Air Canada, and WestJet this winter.
Travellers from Canada may now also bypass the Hawaii's mandatory 10-day quarantine if they have a negative COVID-19 test result from a lab identified by Air Canada or WestJet prior to departure, too.
United Ailrines is offering several dates with pricing as low as just under $401 CAD including all fees. These tickets have one stopover, however.
A ticket that departs on Feb. 3 and returns a week later on Feb. 10 costs $140.86 CAD including all taxes and fees. It has a stopover in San Francisco on the outbound and return flights but they are both quite short.
For Vancouverites looking for a direct option, Air Canada is offering a direct option on the same day for $490 CAD including all taxes and fees. The return flight is a redeye, however.
Explore Honolulu and beyond
Not only is Honolulu famous for its breathtaking, crescent-shaped beach, but it also offers incredible nightlife, shopping and dining.
Hawaii also offers a range of natural gems to explore on each of the islands as well as many places to dine, shop, and catch live shows. From the Mauna Kea Summit to the massive, approachable populations of manta rays, the rich history of Lahaina to the stunning Waikiki Beach, the islands ooze tropical beauty.
