Metro Vancouverites looking for a refined cruising experience with up-scale dining options, incredible live entertainment, and beautifully appointed staterooms now have an option to sail for under $400 CAD right now.
Holland America Line was the first cruise line to sail in Canada Place this year, bringing hundreds of passengers safely to their final port of call en route from San Diego.
Popular for its Alaskan cruises, Holland routinely sails out of Vancouver for seven- and 14-night journeys. But for those looking to dip their toes into cruising, or who simply want to soak up some California sun before cruising up the breathtaking Pacific Coast, there is an ultra-low-cost option departing in May.
The four-day Pacific Coastal cruise departs San Diego on May 11, spends two days at sea, and then stops in Victoria before disembarking in Vancouver on May 15.
The ship is the five-star Noordam, which offers two swimming pools, a live theatre, mini-golf, renowned spa treatments, a basketball court, a tennis court, a jogging track and much more.
The total cost for an interior stateroom for two is $723 CAD including all taxes and fees. The per-person cost works out to $361.50 CAD.
Not only does that cost include your transportation on a beautiful five-star vessel, but it also includes meals, entertainment, snacks, and lodging. The only thing it doesn’t factor in is alcohol and beverages, but you may opt to purchase a drink package that can reduce the cost of your spending.
Famous for its live entertainment, jazz and blues fans will enjoy inspired performances in the B.B. Kings Blues Club. Fans of traditional cruising will also enjoy dressing up on gala nights when guests sport their finest formal attire.
In addition to the main dining room, there is also a casual option on the Lido Deck and a couple of fine dining options: the Pinnacle Grill and the Canaletto Restaurant. For burgers or hot dogs at lunch, the Dive-In offers mouthwatering eats for hungry cruisers until 6 p.m.
Guests may also order food into their rooms at any time of day.
You can book your voyage online with Holland America Line.
