Located in Ucluelet on Vancouver Island, the Wya Point Resort offers breathtaking ocean views and a comfortable 'glamping' experience. Chose between lodges, yurts, RVs or beachfront camping, and bring your furry pal.  Surrounded by 600 acres of old-growth forest, the resort offers exclusive, private beach access to its guests. They allow one dog of any size with a refundable deposit of CAD 20 per day. Sadly, no felines are permitted.

Do you have a designer doggie? The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver offers a package for pooches of a more refined palate. Indeed, its offerings sound more luxurious than those afforded to some people. The Designer Doggie Package includes a luxe leather dog collar, matching leash and key fob by Toronto-based HOUND Collection, an hour-long “pup-arazzi” photo shoot with Flytographer, round-trip transportation to the dog park, doggie treats, toys, overnight accommodation in a one bedroom suite on Fairmont Gold, and a $50 donation to BC & Alberta Guide Dogs. You can even get room service for your spoiled pup!

Nita Lake Lodge

Not only does is the Nita Lake Lodge the only lakeside resort in Whistler, but it is also one of the most lavish. In addition, it also offers a full-service spa, yoga and a fitness centre. When making a reservation, you simply let their team know that you are bringing your pet so that they can allocate a pet-friendly room. Pet fees apply at $25 per night plus tax.

Leave Fido behind while you visit the awe-inspiring West Kootenay region of B.C. ? Never.

The dog-friendly Halcyon Hot Springs Village and Spa offers homo sapiens a decidedly tranquil, indulgent oasis. In fact, they claim that Halcyon is home to some of the most restorative hot spring waters you will find in North America. Further, the resort offers a variety of accommodations, from comfy cottages to cozy cabins to luxurious chalets, and some of them allow pets. With that in mind, they will charge a small fee.

Pet Friendly Salt Spring Island
