Travellers looking to escape to a tropical paradise in the new year can take advantage of some ultra-low-cost options to Hawaii.
While there aren't any inexpensive options departing before 2023, there are numerous affordable dates to choose from toward the end of January and in the first half of February.
The cheapest deals commence after Jan. 14, 2023, with various dates showing round-trip, direct airfare from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) in Honolulu for $325 and under.
For example, a WestJet flight that departs Vancouver on Jan. 23 and returns on Jan. 30 costs a total of $308.65 including all taxes and fees; both flights are direct.
This price is roughly $275 cheaper than usual, as typical return trips to Honolulu cost between $395 and $1,250, according to Google Flights.
