Canada's second-largest airline has a massive sale on flights and hotels across its network, offering discounts on upwards of 60 destinations as part of an extended summer campaign.
WestJet is offering discounts on tickets to all the Canadian cities in its network, including short flights within B.C. and longer ones across the country. Tickets must be booked by Aug. 18 and apply to travel until Feb. 15, 2024. The following blackout dates apply: Sept. 29 and Sept. 30; Oct. 1, Oct. 2, and Oct. 6 to Oct. 9; Nov. 9 to Nov. 13; Dec. 14 to Dec. 31; and Jan. 1, to Jan. 7, 2024.
WestJet flights from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) start for as little as $55 including all taxes and fees for a one-way ticket direct to Kelowna. A one-way, direct flight to Edmonton doesn't cost much more, with prices starting at $62.
While they aren't included in the sale, prices for YVR flights to other international destinations are significantly lower than usual, with one-way, direct journeys across the pond to London (Gatwick), in the United Kingdom starting for as little as $291 including all taxes and fees.
The airline is also offering sales on its vacation destinations, including packages to Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America. Travellers can receive discounts on packages that include hotel and flights for travel between Sept. 1 to April 30, 2024.
The package price will automatically reflect the discount when travellers pull up qualified vacations. Tickets must be booked by Aug. 24.
Travellers can also save up to an extra $530 when they book a minimum night stay at select hotels. For example, you can save up to $300 with a minimum seven-night stay at select all-inclusive Marival Resorts in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
