A family dog is missing after being swept over a waterfall on Saturday afternoon during a visit to Lynn Canyon Park in North Vancouver.
Maya, a nine-year-old golden retriever, was playing in the water not far from the suspension bridge when she was taken over a waterfall by the current.
The District of North Vancouver (DNV) Firefighters Association posted a photo to Twitter that shows firefighters conducting a high-angle rope rescue over a waterfall in the canyon Saturday, but Maya has yet to be found.
