The BC Conservation Officer Service had a busy day today (as they always do), sharing a couple of gems on Twitter.
First was this video of a moose in the Peace River area, caught on video right outside the window of one of their officers.
A Peace Region Conservation Officer woke up this morning to discover he had a visitor. As a CO you learn quickly there is little anonymity in small communities; it comes with the job. However, this may have crossed the line. ? pic.twitter.com/e0C1yVapme

The next incident was closer to home, up in Squamish where another officer rescued this eagle and wrapped it up in a blanket before shooting this photo. The bird is destined for OWL Rehab.
I say this often, but you should really be following these folks on Twitter and Facebook.
