Lane closures on Lions Gate Bridge are expected starting tonight and picking up again Saturday evening, according to the B.C. Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure.
Drivers are advised that a single lane of alternating traffic will be in effect so that joint and bearing repairs can be performed on the bridge, according to the ministry.
Lane closures are planned starting tonight at 10 p.m. and will be in effect until tomorrow at 5 a.m. On Saturday, lane closures are expected to come into effect again starting at 8 p.m. and lasting until 8 a.m. Sunday.
The ministry notes that sidewalks will remain open for pedestrians and cyclists during this time.
