The Delta Police Traffic Unit is informing drivers that a couple of northbound lanes on the Alex Fraser Bridge are still closed due to an ongoing police incident.
Just after noon on Friday, July 17, Delta Police warned drivers to avoid the Alex Fraser Bridge in both north and south bound lanes for an ongoing police incident; lane closures were in effect.
Now, the traffic unit has provided an update on the closure, stating that the southbound lanes are now clear. While two lanes on the northbound north end are still blocked, police say they are now only waiting for the last tow.
