Vancouver Police say that traffic is backed up near the Ironworkers Memorial Bridge due to a pipeline protest.
Just before 1:30 p.m. today, the VPD took to Twitter to warn drivers that traffic is backed up on the McGill Street off-ramp from the Ironworkers Memorial Bridge due to a protest.
Now, the McGill off-ramp is closed to non-commercial traffic in both directions and drivers are advised to avoid the area.
