A demonstration is currently blocking a lane of traffic on Burrard Street in Downtown Vancouver.
Hundreds of people have joined the "Save Sheikh Jarrah" rally that commenced at 5 p.m. at the Vancouver Art Gallery. Demonstrators are calling for a free Palestine and an end to the violence in Sheikh Jarrah - a Palestinian neighbourhood in occupied East Jerusalem.
Several people have taken to Twitter Wednesday (May 12) evening to share images and videos of the demonstration.
