Deep in South Surrey lies a tiny world just waiting to be discovered.
Nestled among the evergreen trees in Redwood Park is an expansive fairy forest.
The popular destination features dozens of little wooden homes and the display has grown significantly over the last several years.
There's even a miniature general store, mayor's office, medical clinic, saloon, and jail.
Local preschool students often help with decorating the various structures.
The park's official map says, "Gnomes and Fairies are hard to see because they're so shy, but if you look carefully you may be able to spot some traces of them."
Redwood Park is also notable as it's home to the largest stand of Redwood trees north of the 49th parallel.
If you aren't a Surrey resident, be sure to put this magical spot on your must-see list for later this summer when we should be able to visit spots outside our own communities more freely in B.C. due to COVID-19 restrictions.
