Vancouver will likely see a mix of fall weather this week, but luckily that means it's unlikely any heavy storms or extreme weather are headed this way.
While some fall weather can be stormy, October will be relatively mild.
Monday, Oct. 2, will likely be the wettest day of the week, with a peak of a 70 per cent chance of showers during the day, but that precipitation should move on later in the day, with a cloudy sky at night. Temperatures will likely stick between 13 and 10 C throughout the day, according to Weatherhood.
Tuesday the chance of showers will still exist, but be much lower, around 15 to 17 per cent. The high for the day will be in the low to mid-teens, with most of Metro Vancouver getting sunny breaks throughout the day. Wednesday will be more of the same, though coul be a bit warmer.
Later in the week Vancouver may see a last gasp of summer, with highs in the low 20s — downtown Vancouver may even hit 24 C. Thursday things are predicted to clear up a bit, with sunny days in time for the Thanksgiving weekend on on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 7.
