That's right -- you can get the forecast for your specific neighbourhood.

The Metro Vancouver weather forecast includes the chance for some rain in September 2023 following a stretch of sunshine.

A cooler trough of air might bring some wet weather to Vancouver at the start of next week.

V.I.A.'s weather forecasting platform, Weatherhood, provides detailed, neighbourhood-specific forecasts for places across the Lower Mainland that include metrics like temperature, precipitation, air quality, humidity, and wind pressure.

While the next few days heading into the weekend look sunny and warm, there is an increasing chance for some precipitation starting Monday, albeit very small.

You can use an interactive map to look at 14 different Weatherhood stations across the City of Vancouver alone, including UBC, Jericho, Downtown Vancouver, Dunbar, Kerrisdale, Mount Pleasant, Kitsilano, Granville Island, Yaletown, Stanley Park, False Creek, Strathcona, and Hastings Sunrise.

Metro Vancouver weather forecast

Starting on Thursday, Sept. 7, Downtown Vancouver is expected to see a high of 23 C and a low of 15 C, according to V.I.A's Downtown Centre Weatherhood station. Only a short drive away, the Mount Pleasant area is expected to see a high of 22 C and a low of 14 C, while Hastings Sunrise has an even cooler high of 20 C and a low of 14 C.

Bobby Sekhon, a meteorologist with Environment Canada, says no significant weather events are expected over the next couple of weeks. Instead, locals will likely enjoy a stretch of mild and sunny weather until next week when a "slightly cooler" trough of air brings some moisture into the region on Monday, Sept. 11, or Tuesday, Sept. 12.

Overnight lows in the mid-teens are expected throughout the week, ranging from 12 C and 15 C.
