Vancouver weather forecast includes a wet weekend

Locals may want to adjust their outdoor weekend plans, provided the seven-day forecast doesn't change.

Saturday is expected to receive as much as 27 mm of precipitation, making it the wettest day of the week. However, Sunday may offer a respite from the rainy weather, with only a 33 per cent chance of showers and a mix of sun and cloud expected.

Showery weather is expected again next week, although no torrential rain is expected. Monday's forecast includes a 41 per cent chance of very light showers, while Tuesday's has a 46 per cent chance of them.

Daytime temperatures are trending a few degrees below seasonal averages this week, with many days reaching highs between 16 C and 19 C. Environment Canada's historical climate data shows the average daytime high for Metro Vancouver is 21.7 C.
