Vancouver weather: Summer showers, warm weekend temperatures expected

Some wet and then warmer weather is expected.

The Vancouver weather forecast includes the possibility of showers this week.

Following a stretch of mostly bone-dry conditions, the seven-day forecast includes the chance of precipitation on a couple of upcoming days.

Starting on Tuesday, July 23, V.I.A.'s Yaletown Weatherhood Station shows bright sunshine with a high of 24 C and a low of 14 C. However, Wednesday's forecast includes a minor threat of showers later in the evening, with a high of 21 C and a low of 13 C (see slide two).

Thursday's forecast includes the highest likelihood of showers this week.

Environment Canada Meteorologist Lisa Ervin told V.I.A. that a low-pressure system will bring a chance of showers to the city overnight Wednesday and continuing into Thursday; a high of 19 C and a low of 14 C is expected in the Yaletown area.
