The Metro Vancouver weather forecast includes highs several degrees above the seasonal average before some weekend rain.
Protesting 4/20 goers might get caught in some showers on Saturday, April 20 but people will get to enjoy some summer-like temperatures ahead of the wet day.
V.I.A.'s Trout Lake Weatherhood station shows bright sunshine a daytime high of 19 C on Friday, April 19 and an overnight low of 5 C. On Saturday, temperatures will stay on the milder side, with a high of 15 C and a low of 5 C. However, there is a 75 per cent chance of wet weather throughout the day (see slide two).
Temperatures are expected to drop down closer to seasonal (a high of 13 C) on Sunday and there are more possibilities for showers.
The sun is expected to shine again at the start of next week, with temperatures climbing up to 17 C on Tuesday in the Trout Lake area.

The rest of the Lower Mainland is expected to experience similar weather trends although temperatures will vary somewhat between cities and neighbourhoods.
For instance, Ladner is expected to enjoy a 19 C high on Friday but a slightly cooler high of 16 C the following Tuesday. Surrey temperatures aren't expected to reach 19 C on Friday but may hit the 17 C mark by next week.
Environment Canada's current spring and summer forecast includes a warmer-than-average signal from May through September.
