Once again, another stacked weekend. The Emerica team is doing an in-store at Underworld (860 Granville St) at 2pm, followed by a sesh at Leeside. This eve, at 8pm, VIA’s own Jennilee Marigomen is having a photo show in Strathcona. Also, at the Biltmore (395 Kingsway), The Goat and No Age are playing tonight. The Goat features Emerica Pros Andrew Reynolds and Kevin Long, as well as superstar US skate photog, Atiba Jefferson.

After a groggy Sunday morning wake-up, it’s Go Skateboarding Day as well as the summer solstice—the longest daylight run of the  year. June 21st also marks the beginning of summer. Go Skate Day starts at 1pm at the plaza, and Vancouver’s city streets will be taken over from there. If the rain chooses to fall, the alternate location will be Leeside.
