Probably the first person I ever idolized was the Fonz, I have countless photos growing up giving the ole 'AAAAYYY!!!!'. Back then my most prized possession was my Fonzie T-shirt, I loved this t-shirt so much that I have memories of myself sitting on my bedroom floor, shirtless with my arms crossed, pouting that my favourite t-shirt was in the wash. Boy I loved that shirt.
I've gone the rest of my life without owning a t-shirt that meant as much to me as that one, until now. I've noticed in the last few weeks that the Gilley brothers, who regularly post here, have rolled out a new set of shirts through their company Basement Clothing. It didn't take long for me to notice the 'Sleep Country' T, and it excited me. Now there's no way Reeves is the Fonz, he's not all to blame but he's part of the reason why we lost our franchise, but in hindsight he's one of the most lovable athletes we've ever had in Vancouver. I mean look at the guy.....
I anxiously facebooked Spencer, "Hey man...why don't I just come by your place and pick it up??', these are pretty smart kids though, and so it was agreed the exchange would be made through Bob. What was followed by that was a bombardment of texts, voice mails, emails and telephone conversations with Bob...'Uh...so you hook up with those kids yet?', "where r shirt?", "Do you know where they live?"
Well today, Bob had some 'important papers' to sign.....I have no idea what any of them said (If I lose the house I'm SOOO dead)....I do know though...I have the shirt....
