dace is a women's clothing line headed up by the company's namesake, fashion designer Dace Moore, a graduate of Blanche Macdonald Centre for Applied Design. Since it's inception the lines have been consistently clean, classy yet fun and original, and the brand has garnered a great deal of recognition in US and Canadian press and amongst women who appreciate the attention to detail and versatility of dace's pieces. All of their operations are executed through their studio downtown and the line is manufactured and produced locally, to high standards of construction and quality. Totally awesome.
We caught up with Dace for a few questions...

If dace was known for only one thing amongst the people who support the brand, what would it be?
Clean lines.
Aside from your own, what’s your favourite business in the city, and why?
One of a Few – because I help her buy and it’s fun. It’s completely different from what we do here.
What's the absolute best thing about having your own clothing label?
Getting a completely new wardrobe every season!
What keeps you here? Like what’s the best thing about Vancouver?
Our beautiful environment - the mountains, lakes, trees… I love all of it. Vancouver Is Awesome.
