I like the idea of hitting up the butcher, the produce place, a bakery all within a couple blocks when I shop. Vancouver's got tons of great areas to do this like Commercial Drive, West 4th, Broadway, and close to where I live on Hastings.
Sometimes though, I just want to grab a bunch of stuff on one fell swoop. T&T is great for this. It's largely known as a Chinese supermarket but it's got all sorts of Asian fare and then some. I stopped by today to pick up some Korean short ribs, on the way to a BBQ.
I wanna try some of their seafood specials next week!
