Randy Laybourne is an artist, graphic designer, art director, photographer… but not a musician. He’s constantly drawing (you may have seen his work recently on Livestock tees or Element skateboards) and does a variety of work as an illustrator, graphic designer / art director and I have honestly and truthfully never seen him outside of his house with less than 2 cameras on his person. Randy recently moved back BC after over 9 years of working and living in California and we consider ourselves incredibly lucky to have him as a part of the V.I.A. team. The Proof

1. The view from our second story apartment that has a nice view of the port and a bit of downtown.
2. Although not in Vancouver, this is my wife on our most recent visit to see friends and family in California.

5. Fake burlap bears at the old zoo. I kind of miss the real ones but glad these guys don’t bite children.
6. The petting zoo in Stanley Park is filled with fun and friendly animals. This llama has quite the underbite.
7. So amazing to see where our drinking water comes from. This is a view of the Capilano Dam.
8. It is great to be back to walking around a city with cameras to catch the random aspects of life.

What are you working on?
There is a group show called Drawing On Vancouver I’m organizing to be at Walrus on Cambie. Opens in mid Nov and will have lots of drawings from some great local and guest artists.

Where can we find your work?
I have a series of tees at Livestock right now with a nice big lightbox to show you the way. There is a massive mural / installation at Timebomb in Burnaby, a Crownfarmer tee in the pipeline, and more things to come. And online of course.
