Went down (on a couple occasions) like:
“You know that restaurant on Kingsway & Fraser, les Faux something?”
“Hell yeah, Pho Van!”
“No, no, not ‘pho.’ ‘Faux.’”
“Oooooh!”

Trevor, let my man Phuc Dat Bich on youtube tell you how to pronounce it.
Btw, speaking of feeling (Molson style) white, seems like the staff at les Faux are France French and not Quebecois? Anyone confirm?

Anyone remeber Pho Bich Nga? On Kingsway and Victoria.

I never ate there, but I laughed everytime I drove by.

Of course, PBN is simply a Vancouver legend. I think it even may have made something like Leno’s funny signs thing or something like that.
I actually drove by the old spot before takin the pic of les Faux and thought that do we ever need a post on it.
