As we discovered in this post, there's alot more to Champlain Heights than asking yourself...'How the hell did Richmond get all the way over here?'
Last week, I found another reason to visit Champlain Heights, the dog parks. There are three all quite close to each other: Sparwood, Fraserview, and the one I visited, Everett Crowley at 8200 Kerr St. Unlike some of the dogparks in the city, Everett Crowley is much more than just a corner of a field, it's huge.
The park consists of trails which allow not only your dog to get some excercise but you too! We went on a weekday afternoon and there was a steady stream of dogs and dog owners which is great if your dog likes to socialize.
There's also a great view of the cranberry fields in Richmond, looks like even the dogs wanted to take it all in.
