Day Two at the Awesome Showcase was pretty quiet until the last 30mins...we had some good foot traffic with a few groups/individuals coming in once or twice an hour. The locals that stopped by included jewelry designer Hazel Boydell and Kari Bergrud who has work around the corner in (and is sitting over at) the CANAMADE Market!
At about 4:30 photographer and Awesome Showcase artist Ray Chwartkowski stopped by and then a whole gaggle of girls from places ranging from France to Germany came and looked around (promising to come back later in the week):
We're expecting it to get a bit busier in Gastown in the next few days as people look to explore the town a little more. And just a reminder the bar IS open and the back room has the olympics playing. So come on down, bring your friends, take a look and have a drink!
