For the past 4 months, each Monday we've been bringing you a listenable playlist put together by notable artists (and a few Radio 3 DJs) who have chosen their favourite songs performed by local groups. Essentially highjacking the amazing library and tools that CBC Radio 3 has put together, we've been trying to showcase the amazing musicians that Vancouver breeds while introducing you to the awesomeness of Radio 3 and encouraging you to sign up as a member with them so you can put together your OWN playlists on their site. It's free, it's fun, and although our navel-gazing theme has been holding our playlists hovering around Vancouver there are so much much more than just Vancouver artists on there; CBC Radio 3 is the absolute ultimate authority, and the home, of independent music in Canada. Period.
