Ladner-born actor and comedian Will Sasso (MADtv, Best in Show) was on hand with much of the cast of Year of the Carnivore for its screening last night at District 319 as part of Canada Screens First Weekend Club. Directed by Sook-Yin Lee (check out Andrea’s Vancouver is Awesome interview with her!) the film was shot in and around the GVRD and is opening across Canada this weekend.

I had the pleasure of sitting beside Sasso (I love saying, “Sasso”) during the screening and feel I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that his cologne was utterly delightful.

Sasso (I love saying that!) and other cast members will be at Tinseltown tonight for the 7:30 pm screening of the film with a Q&A to follow.
