Yes Nice
The Media Democracy movement tries to take back our media as the place where we can go to express opinions, share ideas, and create communities. Since 2001, Media Democracy Day Vancouver has been bringing together activists, artists, media makers, journalists, academics, and citizens to do just that. Through panel discussions with top media makers and scholars, workshop sessions, and an exhibition of our local, alternative, and independent, media organizations, Media Democracy Day works to ensure that our media system helps preserve our right to communicate and share opinion.
41st and Home
Media Democracy Day takes place November 6th at the Central Library (350 West Georgia) from 12-5 PM and is free and open to the public, but we need your help to make it happen! So come down to the Railway on October 14th for goodies, good old-fashioned party shenanigans, and awesome local music!
