Troll 2 was a phenomenal cinematic failure that somehow managed to find a second life as a cult-classic, spawning legions of devoted fans around the world who seem to bask in its singular brand of horrifying awfulness.

Repeatedly.

Best Worst Movie weaves the real-life stories of what became of the cast (and director) of one of the "worst films ever made" after it was all over into a narrative that also serves as a commentary on fame,  pop-culture and the quirky-yet-fickle nature of fandom. As told by director Michael Stephenson - who had the (mis)fortune of starring in the film as a 10 year old - Best Worst Movie is one of the most endearing, hilarious, heartfelt and memorable documentaries you are likely to see this year.

On Thursday, October 7 Best Worst Movie is being released across Canada as a double bill with Troll 2. Best Worst Movie will be showing at 9:00 pm at the Scotiabank Theatre, followed by Troll 2. Tickets are available online HERE.

Vancouver is Awesome has five pairs of tickets and three limited edition screen prints to give away. Two pairs of tickets will be contested on @VIAgiveaways on The Twitter, so if you're not following ... you should!

What is your best "worst" movie? (I have a soft spot for The Cutting Edge.)

Leave your comment to enter. Winners will be picked at random and contacted via email. Contest closes at 10:00 am on Thursday, October 7.

Good luck, goblins!
